Portland Aerial Tram

The Portland Aerial Tram reaches 500 feet in 14 minutes and provides unbeatable 360 views of Portland.

Completed in 2007, the tram connects the South Waterfront to Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU). On a clear day, be on the lookout for Mt Hood, Mt St Helens and Mt Adams towering in the distance.

Before boarding or after departing the tram, be sure to explore South Waterfront, an emerging neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants at the lower terminal. Just a short walk away is Elizabeth Caruthers Park where you can find seasonal farmers markets and outdoor concerts.

OHSU, Portland’s largest employer and medical school, is also worthy of a visit. Check out the hospital's extensive art collection, explore the Marquam Hill neighborhood or hike among the many surrounding nature trails.
