No visit to Portland is complete without a splash in Portland’s most iconic outdoor water fountain.
Located in Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Salmon Street Springs has been attracting visitors and locals alike since 1988. The fountain is controlled by an underground computer which produces three different display patterns from 185 water jets.
The ever-changing fountain overlooks the Willamette River and provides a relaxing place for parents to hang out while the kids get soaked during the hot summer months.
